Web Design. So, you’ve been freelance writing for a while now (or even just getting started), and you’re ready to start a blog! The only problem is, you don’t quite know enough about web design on how to make a cool WordPress theme for your blog and don’t want to spend a ton of money on an Adobe Tool to get the job done! Artisteer is a great WYSIWYG (What You See is What You Get) tool for creating WordPress themes. You can use the Trial version of the software for free (but it will list the word “Trial” on your theme) or buy the software for $50 USD.
Web Design – Creating a Word Press Theme With Artisteer2

The great thing with Artisteer is that if you ever get stuck, the application will always default to having some type of answer for you on how to plug in decent looking colors or images.
6 – Change how your menus will be displayed in the theme. You can change the button types and shapes, menu distances, layout, text color, font, etc.
7 – Manage the Sidebar block now to make it blocked or rounded, change the border, size, color.
8 – Now customize the footer of your theme. You can change anything in the footer down to the RSS Feed logo!
9 – If you’re happy with the WordPress theme you’ve created, click on the “Ideas” tab and choose the “Export” button on the file menu and it will save the WordPress theme to your computer ready to upload to your web server!
