SEO Tools. Part 3 on factors that affect Search Engine Rankings for freelance article(s) and/or website(s). Just like the Key Word Factors and Link Factors articles, you may or may not have heard of all or some of these factors. If you have others worth sharing, please leave in the comments. The factors are not listed in any particular order in the article.
#1 SEO Factor – Unique Content
The more unique, relevant content that you have which is different from that found on other websites is best to boost your rankings!
#2 SEO Factor – Frequency of Content Change
Search Engines like to see frequent updates to your site. Not as good are lots of small updates to content.
#3 SEO Factor – Keyword Font Size
If a Keyword in an article is a larger font that other words in the document, then its considered more important.
#4 SEO Factor – Keyword Formatting
Using Bold and Italic markup for your keywords and phrases make sthem stand out, but should not be overdone.
#5 SEO Factor – Age of Your Article
The most recently written or updated articles are given more weight over old ones when getting updated by the Search Engines.
#6 SEO Factor – File Size of Articles
Search Engines favor smaller articles over those which are more lengthy. Try to split long pages into one page spans or smaller articles.
#7 SEO Factor – Avoid Duplicate Content on Your Site
By all means, do not put up duplicate content on your own site! You’ll get penalized by the search engines for doing this. Its ok to put multiple links to the same piece of content, just not ok to post the same article in four different places!

#3 — Font size doesn't matter, but the use of headings tags do.
Setting the font to 24pt won't help with a search engine, but putting the text into a 24pt h2 tag will.

Will thanks for the clarification! Have you found that the heading tags make a difference in how quick content gets picked up or is it just one of those small things that help build an overall profile?
